Excellent design but required immediate cleaning

I LOVE this dress, but when it arrived, the odor was so strong that it required immediate cleaning (hand washing, as per instructions). Unfortunately, the odor is still not quite out. (It must have been stored in a wet basement; I have washed it twice now.) Beautiful dress, lovely design--and great price--but should have been thoroughly cleaned before it was shipped.
